Surrey for September '09

In a gated development of executive homes in Surrey lives Mrs B.

Her large home, while beautiful, has become a little too large for her on her own and she seeks someone to come and share the space.

While Mrs B can do most things on her own, her failing eyesight means that she would appreciate help reading things like food labels, instructions and operating electrical appliances.

Occasionally Mrs B leaves the house to visit local places, and because her eyesight is poor she would very much appreciate being accompanied.

Among Mrs B's interests are current affairs, reading classic novels and visiting flower shows. A young professional or student with similar interests, a mature outlook and a car would fit in perfectly.

In return the Homesharer would benefit from living in a modern executive home in Surrey with use of their own living room just minutes from a main train line route which is fast into London Waterloo.

Uxbridge for Summer '09

Mrs N lives in a large Victorian house with her dog and cat.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens and on a babbling brook, her home is 10 minutes drive from Uxbridge tube station (Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines) and West Drayton mainline station, and about 20 minutes drive from Heathrow Airport.

Mrs N, despite some hearing loss and memory problems, is cheerful and active, and likes to do gardening. Her failing eyesight has kept her from reading, which being a very intelligent lady is something she loved, but she thoroughly enjoys having eg the Bible read to her. She seeks a Homesharer with a mature outlook and someone who isn't afraid of cleaning.

The help she requires would include house cleaning (as
mentioned), someone in the house when family
members are elsewhere, and some help with meals, driving, etc. This would supplement a good network of family and church support. In return the Homesharer would benefit from an adequately proportioned bedroom and use of the grounds in a lovely area.
